A 14G surface barbell (titanium) with diamond top is included in the price, we have various designs to choose from for an additional cost. The bars can be placed anywhere on a flat surfaced area with minimal skin movement.
Estimated healing time is 3-6 months, although this piercing may take up to a year to heal.
Remember:
Avoid direct friction or pressure, the piercing should be covered with a bandaid when sleeping for the entire healing period.
Wear comfortable clothes if you wish to have it another area than the face.
Surface piercings are more prone to rejection and migration than other piercings and require consistent, proper aftercare. We recommend that you have experience with piercings that are easier to heal before you get a surface piercing.
