We may have experienced stressful situations during different periods of our lives. These experiences wire our nervous system to be on high alert. It wants to protect us from further stress, but instead, this protective response can show up as agitation, isolation, sleeplessness, lack of concentration, or even physical symptoms of illness.
Being happy, being authentic, being present with any challenge that comes – I can only do that when I open up to my feelings in the moment. But often, feeling our emotions can be scary and overwhelming. Befriending our emotional world can seem daunting and strange at first, it can be like learning a new language. But I am here to support you in your journey to discover and aware your emotions and feelings.
Emotional release work often brings direct and deeper healing effects. Many of our emotions and traumas are stored in the body and are not easily expressed through words. When we stay at the level of language alone, our minds tend to analyze, control, or avoid truly feeling our emotions. This is why many people ask: “I understand so much, why can’t I change?” Because it still exists only in the mind, disconnected from the body and unable to be grounded.
Emotional release, through movement, breath and vocal expression, helps us bypass these mind defenses and directly access the repressed emotional energy stored in the subconscious. This allows emotions to flow naturally and be released.
This approach helps to break the emotional blocking patterns we may have developed during childhood, allowing the nervous system to gradually shift from a high-alert state back to balance. As a result, symptoms such as anxiety, insomnia, and physical tension can be alleviated. Through embodied expression, we become more present, connect more authentically with ourselves, feel safe and accepted, and more easily build deep emotional connections with others.
It is a grounded and holistic healing method. It’s not only about “talking through things,” but about reconnecting with the body, emotions, and inner needs. For those who are used to suppressing emotions or find it difficult to express their inner world through words, this approach can be especially effective.
During this session, you will be gently guided through counseling, body openness to build up and connect to your feelings. This is not traditional talk therapy focused on problem-solving. Through emotional awarness, you will then have space to reconnect to yourself deeper and able to feel alivness, and get the energy to move in positive direction. You will be supported to find your next steps in a very practical way.

2018: Began my personal growth therapy at Humaniversity in the Netherlands, a unique group therapy school with the philosophical aim of ‘working with people for a better world’.
